Dacia Duster price in Belgium: 4 powertrains compared

New Dacia Duster from 18,990 EUR in Belgium (October 2026): price by trim, which bonuses are real, the 4x4 at 29,590 EUR and a 755 EUR tax gap between two hybrids.

ParJulien V.8 min de lecture

The new Dacia Duster starts at 18,990 EUR in Belgium in October 2026, with the "Automne" bonus on the Essential Eco-G 120. The top of the grid reaches 29,590 EUR for the only 4x4 version. Between the four powertrains, the gap in list price matters less than the one that shows up on the registration certificate.

How much does a new Dacia Duster cost in Belgium in October 2026?

Between 18,990 EUR and 29,590 EUR incl. VAT depending on the version, according to the grid Dacia Belgium shows for orders from 1 to 31 October 2026 (read on 11 October). Five trims, four powertrains.

Prices incl. VAT read on Dacia Belgium on 11 October 2026. Monthly payments from the financing example at 4.99% APR, with a deposit. The footnote mentions a 359 EUR delivery pack and 15 EUR of environmental contributions: ask the quote whether they are included in the advertised price.

The hybrid's price has not moved in twenty-three months. In November 2024, the Belgian list showed the Expression Hybrid 140 at 26,190 EUR, and the Expression hybrid 155 replaces it today at the same price, with 15 more horsepower. The Eco-G has gone up 500 EUR over the same period: the Essential Eco-G 100 was 19,190 EUR in 2024, the Eco-G 120 asks 19,690 EUR (Autotijd list, November 2024).

Which bonus applies to which version?

Only one bonus is open to everyone: the 700 EUR on the Essential Eco-G 120, granted for any October order of a car registered before 31 December. The 1,000 EUR on the Expression and the 2,000 EUR on the Journey are "Ready-to-Go" bonuses, reserved for cars from a stock selection, to be found on stock.dacia.be or at the dealer.

The consequence shows in the table. The Journey costs 1,800 EUR more than the Expression on the list, but only 800 EUR once the bonuses are deducted, because its stock bonus is double. If the Journey you want is not in stock, the gap goes back to 1,800 EUR.

On credit, Dacia's example at 4.99% gets expensive as soon as you look at the total: deposit and 48 monthly payments added together, the Essential comes to 21,415.64 EUR for a car priced at 18,990 EUR, so 2,425.64 EUR of credit cost. On the Expression hybrid 155 the cost rises to 3,208.11 EUR, on the 4x4 to 3,770.62 EUR.

Eco-G, mild hybrid or hybrid 155: the registration certificate decides

The catalogue separates the mild hybrid 140 from the hybrid 155 by 3,500 EUR. The registration tax adds a second gap, which nobody advertises.

In Brussels and Wallonia, the tax is calculated on the power of the combustion engine alone, read in box P.2 of the registration certificate, not on the combined output from the brochure. The hybrid 155 carries a 109 hp 1.8, about 80 kW, while the mild hybrid 140 has a 103 kW 1.2 turbo. The first falls in the 71 to 85 kW bracket of the scale, the second in the 101 to 110 kW bracket.

tribrid 150 4x4about 103 kW (140 hp)101 to 110 kW902.37 EUR1,112.01 EUR

Base amounts before the other factors. Walloon scale from 01/07/2026 to 30/06/2027 (SPW Finances). Brussels grid: the historical scale indexed by 28.26%, as in our guide to the registration tax. The kW of the combustion engines are converted from horsepower at 0.7355 kW per hp: only the certificate of conformity is authoritative. Brussels also takes the fiscal horsepower derived from engine capacity and keeps the higher amount, which the Brussels Fiscality simulator settles for the 1.8.

In Wallonia, the base amount is then multiplied by CO2 over 136, maximum authorised mass over 1,838 and an energy coefficient, 0.8 for a hybrid. With 105 g/km for the hybrid 155 and 122 g/km for the mild hybrid 140 (homologation figures reported by L'argus), and a maximum mass of 1,900 kg taken as an assumption, you get about 82 EUR for the first and 837 EUR for the second. Gap: 755 EUR at registration, to be redone with box F.1 of your car.

Now run the full calculation. The hybrid 155 Expression costs 3,500 EUR more on the list, 2,745 EUR more once the Walloon tax is counted. The fuel difference measured by L'argus, 5.8 l/100 km against 6.2 l/100 km, represents 300 litres over 75,000 km, so less than 600 EUR even at two euros a litre. The mild hybrid 140 therefore pays for itself comfortably for anyone who drives little. The hybrid 155 is justified by something else: the automatic gearbox, town driving, the electric start.

In Flanders, the logic reverses. The tax follows CO2, the Euro standard, the fuel and the age, with no power criterion, so the hybrid 155 (105 g) comes out ahead of the mild hybrid (122 g). We do not put a figure on Flanders: the regional simulator gives the exact amount. Our article on the Dacia Bigster reasoned on 11 September on the combined 114 kW for the same powertrain; the thermal box P.2 changes that calculation.

What is the real-world consumption of each Duster?

The published measurements do not come from Belgium and were not all taken in the same conditions. Here they are as they stand.

PowertrainWLTP homologationCombined measurementOther reading

tribrid 150 4x45.5 l petrol, 7.1 l LPG (homologation under way in 2025)no published measurementup to 1,500 km claimed range

LPG uses more litres but costs less per litre. In Automobile Propre's test, at French pump prices of September 2025, the combined run cost 8.1 EUR per 100 km on LPG against 8.3 EUR for the hybrid Duster. Redo the sum with your Belgian prices: the 6,200 EUR between the Essential Eco-G and the Expression hybrid 155, bonuses included, will not be recovered at the pump.

Duster 4x4: one version only, the most expensive

The Extreme tribrid 150 4x4 at 29,590 EUR is the only four-wheel-drive Duster in the October grid. It pairs a 140 hp 1.2 petrol and LPG engine with a small 31 hp electric motor on the rear axle, so 154 hp combined, with a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox (Dacia press release, September 2025).

It costs 3,600 EUR more than the Journey hybrid 155 once bonuses are deducted. In November 2024, the earlier Duster TCe 130 4x4 already cost 3,500 EUR more than the same trim in two-wheel drive (25,990 EUR against 22,490 EUR for the Expression), a premium that has held steady for two years.

Who is it for? For snowy Ardennes roads, the dirt track up to the house and the trailer. Not for town: a well-chosen set of winter tyres, whose cost we detail in our guide to winter tyres in Belgium, handles most Belgian winters for a fraction of those 3,600 EUR. For tax purposes, its 140 hp combustion engine puts it in the mild hybrid's bracket.

Duster: Dacia Belgium, 11 October 2026. Bigster and Symbioz: readings of 11 September 2026 (Dacia Belgium and the Moniteur Automobile catalogue), see our article on the Bigster. Yaris Cross: entry price of the facelifted version, our July 2026 article, trim not equivalent. Duster boot: L'argus.

The Duster loses on space and wins on price. The Symbioz uses a little less fuel for 4,810 EUR more: at a 0.4 l/100 km gap, the bill is never recovered. The comparison tool lines models up on your own criteria.

The flaws to know before you sign

The L'argus testers agree on the same reservations, hybrid versions included:

  • wind noise becomes audible from 90 km/h;
  • rear three-quarter visibility is poor;
  • the cabin feels dark and a little narrow;
  • the hybrid 155 gearbox still hesitates at times;
  • towing is capped at 750 kg braked on the hybrid 155, against 1,500 kg on the mild hybrid 140;
  • the mild hybrid 140 only comes with a manual gearbox, with no automatic.

The hybrid 155's boot is quoted at 430 litres by L'argus, against 517 litres for the mild hybrid: the battery sits under the floor.

Our verdict

Take the mild hybrid 140 Expression at 21,690 EUR if you drive under 15,000 km a year and a manual gearbox suits you. The net price assumes a stock vehicle: check availability before doing the sums. It is the version whose total bill, Walloon tax included, stays lowest among the hybrids.

As an alternative, the Eco-G 120 Essential at 18,990 EUR, the only one whose bonus does not depend on stock, provided an LPG station sits on your route.

The Journey hybrid 155 at 25,990 EUR is worth its price for town driving and the automatic, and the 4x4 remains a purchase of conviction. This grid runs until 31 October 2026: check it again before you sign.

Frequently asked questions

From 19,690 EUR list price for the Essential Eco-G 120 (18,990 EUR after the 700 EUR "Automne" bonus) to 29,590 EUR for the Extreme tribrid 150 4x4, according to the Dacia Belgium grid read on 11 October 2026, for orders placed until 31 October.

Yes, but only one version appears in the October 2026 grid: the Extreme tribrid 150 4x4, at 29,590 EUR. It pairs a 140 hp 1.2 petrol and LPG engine with an electric motor on the rear axle, for 154 hp combined.

The Eco-G 120 for budget and long trips if an LPG station sits on your route, the mild hybrid 140 for low mileage with a manual gearbox, the hybrid 155 for town driving and an automatic. The hybrid 155 costs 3,500 EUR more than the mild hybrid, but pays less registration tax.

No. The 700 EUR "Automne" bonus applies to any order of an Essential Eco-G 120. The "Ready-to-Go" bonuses of 1,000 or 2,000 EUR only cover vehicles from a stock selection, registered before 31 December 2026.

L'argus measured 5.8 l/100 km combined with the hybrid 155, about 5 l in town and 6.8 l at 130 km/h. The mild hybrid 140 used 6.2 l/100 km over roughly 1,000 km, and close to 7.5 l in town.
